6 WEEK INTRODUCTION TO INVERSIONS COURSE

WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?

This course will benefit anyone interested in yoga, movement and exploring inversions such as headstand, forearm stand and handstand. You will benefit from this course if you are working towards your first stable forearm stand or handstand, or perhaps you are intrigued by these postures but don’t know where to start. Options and progressions will be provided so both beginners and those with some experience will benefit and progress their practice.

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN ON THIS COURSE?

Whether headstand, forearm stand or handstand you will learn what is needed in order to nail these skills and how to continue working on them for a safe, long term practice. You will also learn specific mobility and flexibility drills that your body needs for long term ease of movement and sustained practice.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT IN EACH CLASS?

Classes will involve body weight drills to build the strength, flexibility and movement patterns needed for your specific goals. You will get lots of assistance where needed and plenty of time to try out techniques and progressions in a supportive, fun environment.

6 WEEK DAYTIME COURSE: FRIDAYS AT 12noon to 1pm starting on 1st May 2026 Full course dates as follows: 1,8,15,22 May & 5,12 June

6 WEEK EVENING COURSE: TUESDAYS AT 6.30pm to 7.30pm starting on 5th May 2026. Full course dates as follows: 5,12,19 May & 2,9,16 June
